Firstly, Congratulations!  If you are reading this, we assume that you have recently got engaged and are now looking to find someone to capture the memories of your special day for you!  As we may be spending a lot of your big day with you, we thought that we would let you know a little bit about ourselves.

We are a husband and wife team – Andrew & Finola Britton.  In 2012, we started Limelight Films whilst living in Cyprus by filming a wedding for a friend.  Since that first wedding film, the business grew and developed more rapidly than we could have ever predicted, and we quickly became the leading videography team in Cyprus.  After 5 years of filming weddings in Cyprus, we made a big decision to relocate with our young daughter to offer our Wedding videography in the UK from 2018 onwards.  Partly for personal reasons and partly because we really wanted to try our hand at something different and film some of the beautiful weddings and scenery in the UK!

Over the past 13 years we have filmed a huge variety of weddings from small intimate beach & boat weddings, comprising of not much more than ten people, to huge weddings covering multiple days with the guest list sometimes exceeding 1000 people!  So far, we have had the opportunity to capture Greek, Turkish, Jewish, Nigerian, Indian and Iranian weddings and all their beautiful traditions.  We love all types of weddings and that variation is what makes it so exciting for us!

Usually we both film on the day and as a result of the huge amount of time we spend together we have developed an instinctive understanding of how each other works and what our roles are.  We feel this understanding of each other really helps to give us an edge on the day.  We pay close attention to the details, emotions & personality of your day; we focus on creativity; and make sure that there is always consistent high quality.

Since our very first wedding, with every film we make we have continually tried to improve upon the last.  The only downside of this is having to disappoint so many couples as we can only take on a limited number of weddings every year.  The reason for this being due to the number of hours needed to produce each wedding film to the best of our abilities.  Beyond the many hours filmed on-location, it is not unusual for us to spend 60+ hours editing each wedding film!
